Lagos Court Dismisses Case Filed by Ojukwu’s Eldest Son

A Lagos High Court has struck out the case filed by Chief Debe Ojukwu who is challenging alleged breach of his human rights by his relations.

Debe had sought a court order to restrain his brothers and sisters from threatening his life as the eldest son of the late Dim Odimegwu Ojukwu.

In the case filed since October 2012, he had demanded for N100million damage.

But in his judgement Friday, Jan, 10, 2014, Justice Okon Abang, struck out the case on the grounds that the court had no jurisdiction to entertain it.

However, Debe had joined Prof. Joseph Ojukwu, Emmanuel Ojukwu, Lotanna Ojukwu, Patrick Ojukwu, Patricia Ojukwu and Margaret Ojukwu and Mrs Bianco Ojukwu, wife of late Ojuwku, among others.
