Latest Fifa ranking: Super Eagles falls to 37th Position.

The senior national team, the Super Eagles have dropped one place to 37th in the latest Fifa world rankings released on Thursday morning.

 The Super Eagles was ranked number four in Africa with a total of 710 points.

Côte d’Ivoire are ranked first in Africa with 918 points while the Black Stars of Ghana end 2013 as second best after gathering 849 points.

 Algeria are third with 800 points.

 World and European champions Spain top the list at first position securing themselves once again the title of Team of the Year. Germany came second, Argentina third, Colombia fourth, and Portugal fifth.
