Government of South Africa is set to charge the grandson of former South African president Nelson Mandela with assault and brandishing of firearm at another man, a prosecutors official said on sunday.
Luxolo Tyali, a spokesperson for the prosecuting authority in South Africa told Reuters news agency that
Mandla Mandela will appear in court on friday.
Mandla,44 was reported to have shot a teacher whose vehicle had collided with the one driven by a guest of Mandla Mandela
The sunday Times Newspaper of South Arica had reported on 1st Dec. that the teacher had to undergo emergency surgery to remove blood clot from his brain.
A spokesperson for Mandla Mandela has denied that the incident ever happend.
